Our choir teacher told us to pick a piece that was in our range, but also made us sound good. Gon’t pick anything too complicated. I sang Think of me from phantom of the opera in my freshamn year and was one of only five freshamn to make the cut.

“Confidence” from The Sound of Music, or anything sung by Eliza Doolittle in “My Fair Lady” are comparable in range to Sarah’s songs in Guys and Dolls. Good luck- my school did Guys and Dolls last year, I tried out with “I Could Have Danced All Night” from My Fair Lady and got the role of Miss. Adelaide. (that’s a fun role-maybe even more fun than Sarah) :)
