They look exactly the same. And I don’t quite get the hostility towards Bratz dolls. I heard one woman say that “any mother who lets her kids play with Bratz dolls should have her kids taken away”. A little extreme I think.
I remember the fuss over Barbie too. People complained and as a result, Barbie’s measurements were changed. And Barbie is so physically and morally perfect, and therefore completely unrealistic (how many of us are ever going to get to be princesses). So I can’t help but think that there are always going to be people to complain about something.

Yeah, I think that’s kinda extreme too, but I wouldn’t get dolls like that for my daughter.

I used to have the same attitude towards Bratz, just because the dress so scantily. However my daughters do play with them. I just wish they did clothe better which is probably to only difference between the them and myscenes. The My Scenes dolls were made as a copycat, Bratz were out first.

Bratz dolls do not have feet they only have little nubs at the bottom. My scene dolls have feet. Thats too bad that mother feels that way about the dolls. I know my daughter always got enjoyment from the dolls. That mother would be the type of person that would teach their child that they are perfect while other children around her have something wrong. I do think the mother went way to extreme.

Bratz are trashy, but some people are far too extreme. I would not return them if my daughter received them as a gift, but I would not purchase any myself. MyScene were Mattel’s answer to Bratz when they realized how much market share Barbie was losing when Bratz were introduced.

my 4 year old daughter Kasey doesnt play with bratz dolls because i think they are too slutty.
she plays with polly packets, regular barbies, and my scene.
she also plays with baby dolls.

bratz have no feet or noses and big heads they are also shorter than barbies or myscenes

Myscene dolls were created by the Barbie manufacturer in response to the Bratz dolls. The hostility towards the Bratz dolls has to do with their skimpy clothes and the emphasis on the bling. And I do understand why some moms are very uncomfortable with the message this may be sending to their daughters. But I let my girls have them and Barbies. Maybe because I remember people fussing about Barbie when I was a kid. I understood that it was just a doll and my girls also understand. I explain that their clothes are fine for make believe, but that you wouldn’t want to dress like that in real life. I think that one woman you mentioned is absolutely insane.

as ong as the kids are not trying to figure out how they want to look then dolls like that are great for the kids imagination
why do they always have a bad name…….just tell ur kids if this brat was real she would be really sick and that the kids shouln’t try to copy the dolls

their r the same just like buy a bag of chips and they taste the same but have different name on the bag on the other hand the mother is crazy just cause ur child play with the braz doll don’t mean that ur child will be a brat
